This year many of us will choose to shun away from the romantic expectations and pressure of Valentine’s Day. Instead, it can be nice to forget about, the most romantic day of the year this for a moment and focus our attention on the sacred day before.

Galentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to get together with our gal pals and make the most of the day before Valentine’s. We’ve put together our five top tips to help you plan an exciting night in with friends and embrace this fabulous new tradition.

1. Prep and make yourself comfortable

Make sure the place is looking presentable and there is enough space for everyone to get cosy and enjoy themselves. Then we just need to put on our favourite pair of pyjamas or best onesie and get comfortable. This allows will allow you to sit back and relax for the night ahead, ready for gossiping with friends and enjoying all the benefits of a fun evening in.

2. Pick the perfect menu

A night in with friends is always a great way to catch up and a fun way to entertain. Why not get creative in the kitchen, making a delicious menu full of tasty treats that are quick and easy to prepare at home. Finger foods are ideal as there is always something for everyone. Putting on the perfect drink selection is also key, as it’s important to make sure that there is something for every guest.
